Terms & Conditions
General
Accomodation is in double room. Single room is charged extra.
Transfer with recommended flight is included. Any transportation to/from airport for other flights is on participants own charge. Rental car can be a valuable alternative if i.e. participant wish to undertake own excursions on day with free program.
Only defined and specified meals, accomodations and activities are included. If participant wishes winepackages outside the travel arrangements, it's on own's charge.
Booking fee, SEK 3.000/EUR 300,- is payed to Sentiero AB. Payment details are provided when booking is undertaken. Once the payment for the booking is received, is the booking confirmation transmitted to registered email-address. Booking fee is not refundable once booking has been confirmed.
Remaining part of payment shall be payed not later than 30 days before the wine walk starts. Cancellation of participation later than 30 days prior the start of booked wine walk, enforces participant to pay the entire amount or alternatively find a participant that can replace.
Cost for change of name of participant is to an additional fee of SEK 1.000/ EUR 100,-
Booking of wine walk less than 30 days before start, requires that the entire amount is payed when booking.
Cancellation of participation is not refundable!
Cancellation Insurance
Walk the Wine does not offer any Cancellation Insurance in proper. Mostly this kind of insurance is part of either Payment/Credit Card Insurances or Home Insurance (Sweden). We warmly recommend you to have a proper cancellation- and travel insurance.
Travel Guarantee
At the moment, 2020 when all our wine walks are cancelled, is also the Travel Guarantee suspended for the corresponding period.
Once we have planned programs for 2021 following is valid: Walk the Wine (Sentiero AB) is covered by a Travel Guarantee, deposited at The Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency (Kammarkollegium) in the name of Sentiero AB. The guarantee ensures that you will be refunded if Sentiero would become insolvent. You will obtain refunding for that part of the travel or/and travelarrangement(s) Walk the Wine is responsible for, which was/were not completed.
Responsibility
Walk the Wine act in role as proper tour operator with own travel arrangements but also as dealer of arrangements organised by third party operator, outside Sweden. Walk the Wine is not responsible for events outside it's own, or the collaborators control, such as incidents, theft, traffic noice, discomfort of insects, allergies and similar.
In areas where we undertake more advanced trekking (in the Alps or Apennines i.e.) are local mountain guides hired, which ensures that the trekking group is insured for potential incidents during these trekkings
Prerequisites
You shall be able to walk in slightly undulated paths and narrow roads, approximately 4-5 hours per day. This is a trekking tour where all the walks are executed in a calm and sustainable pace.
If heavy rain, is the wine walk adopted to weather conditions and transfer/transportation will be arranged for if the walk cannot be performed.
Illness / Incident
The participant is requested to have an own travel insurance and the European Health Card at hand (if European citizen). If any incident occurs are we from Walk th Wine of course assisting with full support (language, procedures with health and/or legal entities) but are not claimed responsible for the incident itself.
What to bring
Bring along clothes that will meet up with the weather forecast for your trip. Clothes shall be comfortable for daily walks of approximately 4-5 hours (10-15 km). Comfortable shoes for trekking/walking, a small backpack for daily needs (a bottle of water, a light sweater i.e) The luggage will be transferred between accomodations (if not the same for the entire wine walk) by dedicated transportation.
